I have found over the years that the general consensus out there is that men hate me. I say this because that's what they tell me all the time, right to my face. And I've learned to deal with it. I understand their anger. I enjoy building things and I'm there to show people how easy and rewarding it is.

Basically, I'm a reminder to women that men can build things. I learned everything I know about building from my Mom, so she's proof of that. But I also think I'm a reminder that women don't need men to build things. Our show is all about teaching, inspiring and giving people the courage to take that first step and say, "YES! I can do that."

I've picked some of my favorite projects to include here in the Projects, Tips & Techniques section and, I assure you, they can be done by anyone! I hope you'll try one out.
