When I cover my kids' school books using this method, the geography books are always covered in old maps. Makes them easy to identify. The Math books are always done with old grocery bags (plenty of room for the kids to draw on or add math equations). I have also used wrapping paper (themed for the subject), but do reinforce the paper with clear packing tape so that it lasts the whole semester/year.

I think this is a wonderful idea. I remember buying covers for my books. They were thin and would tear easily. Wall paper is tough and should last. I'll share this with friends with kids.

Thanks, Ane

I haven't covered books in years... since elementary school, probably. I'll be doing this with some books that I'd love to use to display around my home as accessories. Love this!
