| Microwave Holiday Treat |

Who ever heard of making Christmas goodies in your microwave? Well, Matt and I have because our friend Chris from Tupperware has shown us how. Chris has put together three tasty treats that are perfect for holiday parties or holiday giving. Enjoy Chris’s article and don’t hold the fact that she likes fruitcake against her! Hahaha!
During this busy season, using Tupperware’s microwave cookware and your microwave oven can save you time AND money. Giving gifts of homemade candy and baked goods is a tradition we all love! Well, maybe not Aunt Jean’s fruitcake…although I am one of those crazy folks who love it!
Here a few tried & true recipes that you can use to make delicious Holiday gifts. Pair these goodies with Tupperware’s Christmas Canisters, KeepTabs™ or Vent’N Serve™ containers, and your gift will keep giving for years!
Vent ‘N Serve™ *A note regarding recipes: These recipes are designed using Tupperware products. You can use any suitable microwave-safe container. White Gold
**If you can only make one recipe, make this one! You can package this in food-safe cello bags, fold over the top & staple with a bow. You’ve got instant party favors or hostess gifts!
Ingredients:
2) Melt almond bark in the base of the Oval Microwave Cooker. 3) Pour melted bark over the popcorn & nuts & mix well with a silicone spatula.
Package for gifts or place in an airtight container ready to grab for snacking during your favorite Christmas movie! 3-Minute Fudge
Everyone loves fudge and we all seem to have great memories of it from our childhood, but few ever make it at home. There is a trick to it and we all know no one makes fudge like our grandmothers. Well, give this simple recipe a try and it will surprise and delight you.
Ingredients: Instructions: 2) Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute, and then stir. 3) Microwave on HIGH for 2 more minutes, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture can be stirred smoothly. 4) Stir in vanilla & nuts. 5) Pour into a lightly greased Vent ‘N Serve™ Large Shallow container and spread evenly. 6) Refrigerate until firm. And if you present this gift of fudge in a Tupperware microwave container, your gift will last long after the Holidays are over! Peanut Bark Crunchers
If you are a peanut butter junkie…you’ll love these sweet peanutty crunchers. They’re bite sized and look great mixed in with your holiday cookie display. We just bet you can’t eat just one!
Ingredients: Instructions: 1) Melt chocolate in the base of the Oval Microwave Cooker for 1-2 minutes on HIGH. 2) Add peanut butter, stir until smooth. 3) Add the remaining ingredients, stirring with a silicone spatula to incorporate well. 4) Drop bite-sized pieces onto a silicone mat or parchment paper. 5) Allow to “set”. P ack into airtight containers, such as Tupperware’s KeepTabs™, for gift giving. Well, Chris certainly opened my eyes with her quick and easy holiday treat recipes. I never really thought much about creating candy for the holidays. Our family was always all about the Christmas cookies. But, as we all know, traditions change. And, to go from cookies to candy shouldn’t create a single holiday argument. Wow! Another tradition changed! Hahaha! Shari

Anyone can bring out the china or glass appetizer or snack bowls, so why not create something unique that your guests will keep talking about after the party is over!
A
traditional treat around St. Patrick's Day. This one is especially tasty due to the golden raisins!Looking for a great beverage to celebrate this month? Make your own green beer and let the blarney roll!
