I do the same thing with my spices.
In addition, I label the tops of the spice jars by writing on white correction tape, which is a nice narrow tape. With the tops labeled, it is much easier to find the spices in the baskets.

I bet the stackable baskets would work to.

I have found that using a basket for my often-used spices in one of the cabinets near the stove really helps, too. Then you just pull the basket down and are able to find the appropriate spice much quicker than looking through the cabinet. So, don't just use the baskets in the pantry area. Maybe make them a nicer basket for the often-used spices.
