When you read the article below you will agree that Chris is right, January is a time for rethinking how we eat and cut out some of those fantastic holiday recipes that are jam packed with calories! Take it away Chris! Tupperware’s very tasty (Mayo-Free) Italian Tuna Salad is just the right thing for healthier eating in January! After all the delicious indulgences of the holidays, most of us resolve to eat a more healthy diet in January, even if we don’t have to drop a pound or two. This tuna salad recipe is featured in the recipe insert that accompanies my favorite new kitchen tool, the Tupperware Chop ‘N Prep™ Chef. It is delicious and uses no mayonnaise! I promise you won’t even miss it.
You’ll be turbo-chopping (288 times in 15 seconds) fresh herbs, vegetables, fruit, baby food and more with this compact & earth-friendly product. It features an easy-pull cord mechanism that requires no electricity. Plus, it is small enough to store in a cupboard, drawer, camper or boat. It includes an airtight seal and an insert with recipes. This great new Tupperware item has a 1-¼ cup/300 ml capacity and the retail cost is only $39.50.
N ow for that recipe!
Italian Tuna Salad (Serves 2)
Place all ingredients in the base of your Chop ‘N Prep™. Replace cover, twist to seal and pull the cord 4-5 times or until desired consistency is achieved. Red Wine Vinaigrette (Makes ¾ cup)
Place all ingredients in a sealed container and shake well to combine. Use 3 tbsp. for the tuna salad and use remaining vinaigrette for salad dressing. Store in the refrigerator. Best Wishes for the Happiest New Year!
Your Tupperware Connection, Today’s Organized Kitchen Blog Matt and I would like to thank you Chris for adding such good information to our site. My kids are crazy about tuna and I just might try this recipe and substitute tofu or tuno for the tuna! I’ll let you know how it goes!
