That’s right….Shari is reinstating “Design by Mail”, her personalized design assistance service through the mail!  Dozens of participants have enjoyed this personal design service and have been able to make changes in their homes with confidence.  Dozens more have inquired about this service, so its time has come.  Although this time its bigger and better and certainly more versatile.  

This time, you can choose the level of information you desire from a simple written consultation only to a full blown floor plan, colors, and furnishings suggestion.   

The details…. Mail several photos of the one room to be designed.  Briefly describe what you are trying to achieve, along with any information that might sway decisions.  Measurements of the room are helpful as well as your budget and whether or not you are open to DIY projects.  It’s nice to know how the room is used, what you do and don’t like about the space, and what items need to stay.  (It’s probably impossible to send too much information!)  Your photos will be returned.

Level 1:      Ahh, the Mighty Pen!                                            $50

Shari will read through your letter, take note of your descriptions, analyze your photos and send you written suggestions for your space.  She may send you to our site to download project ideas and information or suggest stores to check for furnishings, themes to use and color families to consider. 

Level 2:      Pictures are Worth a Thousand Words                    $250

As above, you will receive detailed written suggestions for your space.  

You will also receive catalog tear sheets and photos of suggested items for your home that will include everything from furnishings to artwork to wall and window suggestions.

Level 3:      Full Tilt Boogie                                                   $500

As above, you will receive detailed written suggestions for your space.  

You will also receive catalog tear sheets and photos of suggested items for your home that will include everything from furnishings to artwork to wall and window suggestions. 

The bonus here is that Shari will draw up personal floor plans for you along with elevations and details if required.  A perspective sketch is also included of the suggestion most recommended.  This gives you an opportunity to “picture” your room even before you begin.  It’s a great way to decide if the suggestions will be comfortable for you before you get started.

*Shari will look over your photos and send you a reply within 14 days of receipt and clearing of payment. 

*The consultations include ideas and design concepts, not all material selections will have specific color names and numbers. 

*Shari will not be available to discuss designs by phone. 

*Your photos and swatches will be returned. 

*Shari is not responsible for making recommendations that are not feasible because of information left out of your communications. 

*Shari is not responsible for any correspondence lost in the mail.

I can’t let Shari have all the fun so here’s another option for you.  If you live in the Sarasota area, Shari and I would love to use your home for website material.  We would video tape the projects in your home and use them on the site.  You would pay for the materials and labor costs to paint, wallpaper, design and sew. 

You get a room professionally decorated by your favorite decorating duo and you can show it off to fellow (jealous) fans on our site!
