Recently at the Rhode Island Home and Garden Show, I was walking the show floor looking at all the products that the vendors were displaying to make life easier for all of us home owners and do-it-yourselfers.  As we always do, Shari and I keep our eyes open for items that not only we would consider in our homes, but for items that we feel will make everyone’s life a lot easier. 

One of the booths that caught my eye and I kept circling back to was a product called LG-BAGZ-IT.  The timing was perfect, waiting for me back in Ohio was 5 days of leaf raking and back breaking leaf hauling ahead of me.  The LG-BAGZ-IT is basically a new version of the wheelbarrow.  And after spending some time talking to the inventor and number one sales man Larry Gardenour, I knew I had to have one and I knew I had to share his invention with our friends on our website. 

So below is Larry’s story and I for one have to tell you, I have two of the LG-BAGZ-IT’S the mini and the residential and I don’t know if my back will ever be the same, thank goodness!

My Name is Larry Gardenour and I am one of 60 percent of people with back pain…and one that needed back surgery. I made the LG-BAGZ-IT to help myself with my lawn and flower gardens that we have at my home. After my surgery the wheelbarrow put too much pressure on my back trying to lift it and the side to side motion was too much jerking for a person with a good back, let alone someone like me that had recently endured back surgery.

The LG-BAGZ-IT is designed to lay flat on the ground and rake into so you don’t have to bend over and pick up the leaves to fill a bag. The LG-BAGZ-IT has an angled front making it easy to rake into the bag as it lays flat on the ground and the curves in the back make it easy to empty.  When you go to empty the bag by picking it up by the axel in the back, all the contents will roll out even if the leaves are wet and hard to move.

The LG-BAGZ-IT collapses and lays down flat making it easy to store. It is made of tear resistant, UV and mildew-resistant vinyl which make the LG-BAGZ-IT universal for all kinds of work around the home and garden. 
 

We have three sizes to choose from: Mini, Residential, and Commercial. All are collapsible with molded poly wheels that need no oil, air, or grease. This makes the LG-BAGZ-It maintenance free. To keep it clean just hose it down with water.

e designed the MINI to work right down into the flower gardens. It has a tool pouch on the side of the bag so you can carry all your favorite garden tools with the bag.  You can fold the MINI down flat with all your tools still in the side pocket.

The MINI stands straight up to make weeding easy or you can lay it down flat so you can weed along the side walk.

The Residential LG-BAGZ-IT has all the same features as the MINI, but the Residential will also hold open the standard 30 gallon biodegradable paper lawn and leaf bags some need to use for recycling. 

It is always a problem, trying to hold the bag open while picking up the material to put into a bag. This is usually a two person job – but not anymore! The clips on the inside are designed to clamp down on paper bags or plastic 39, 42, or 55 gallon lawn and leaf bags to hold them open.

The Commercial LG-BAGZ-IT is for big jobs around the yard: All your leaves, grass, tree limbs, and branches. The Commercial LG-BAGZ-IT will hold up to 17 cu ft. of materials when packed down tight. This is one of the nice things about this bag. You can pack the bag full and still be able to dump all the material out by grabbing the axle and shaking it out.

All our bags are made with our tear resistant material so you can pack the bag with wood chips, tree limbs, rose cane, mulch, grass and leaves.

Handy for other jobs as well.

When you’ve gone to the garden center and have those 40lb bags of potting soil in the back of the car or the truck, just open the MINI LG-BAGZ-IT and place it behind the vehicle.  Slip the potting soil into the bag as the MINI can hold up to 80lbs of material and wheel it to the garden. If you have a case of bottled water or soda, or a 50lb bag of bird seed use the MINI to move it all!

You can even move wood into the house by the fire for those chilly winter evenings!  The MINI and the Residential LG-BGAZ-IT will go through all standard door ways. Load it up and move that load of wood or pellets to the fire box, unload, fold down the LG-BAGZ-IT with the mess inside and take it back outside to dump the bark and bugs.
 

Need that extra set of hands to carry all that gear to the beach?  The MINI is just what you need.  It folds down flat so you can put it in the car and load it up when you get to the beach.

The more you have to do around the house, the more ways you can use the LG-BAGZ-IT!

So as you can see, my trip to this booth was well worth it.  I discovered so many ways to make the jobs around my house easier to do and better for my body!  Plus, since all the BAGZ fold up, they can be stored in minimal space and that is always a nice feature.  Thanks again to Larry for all his help and advice.  From now on, I’m an LG-BAGZ-IT boy!

Nice to see New Hampshire products here. I will have to check these out. They look to be quite a good idea.
