| A Valentine Sachet |
|
I have owned this valentine sachet for quite some time now and I thought I would share it because it would be very easy to make. Whip up a couple of these on your sewing machine, or even by hand, and they would be a thoughtful and rather inexpensive valentine gift. Details like the three tiny pink flowers and the heart shaped charm hanging from the bottom are easy to find at your local craft store. Try the notions department and of course the scrapbooking aisle for other wonderful additions!
Materials List:
Instructions:
2) Pin the hearts together with wrong sides facing and stitch all the way
3) Fill the heart with potpourri and stitch the opening closed.
4) Using hot glue gun to attach, cover the stitching with small trim. Add cord to hang, covering raw edges with bow made of ribbon. (Notice that the hanging ribbon is attached to the front of the heart, not in the crook of it.)
5) Using hot glue gun, or by hand stitching, embellish as you wish. I have always enjoyed handing out small gifts to my neighbors at the holidays. This just might be the perfect idea this year! Shari
